Food Bank

To use Food Bank services, you will need to register and here are the steps: 

  1. Call our Program Coordinator at 416-743-1282 for an appointment and registration. 
  2. Once your appointment is confirmed, you will have to provide the following information in person:
    • Identification for all family members
    • Proof of address
    • Proof of all income, including wages, OW/ODSP, OAS/CPP and child tax benefit
    • Proof of rent/mortgage
    • Proof of household expenses including, utilities (water, gas, electricity), cable/internet/telephone

  3. Following registration, you will be notified when to collect your food. 

To ensure smooth operation and efficient service, we kindly ask all the clients to schedule appointments by calling 416 743-1282. Your cooperation allow us to better serve our community. 

 

Christmas Toy Drive

We desire to spread joy during the Christmas season to children in need within our community by providing toys on Christmas season. For those interested in donating toys, your donations will be greatly appreciated. 

This year the pre-registration dates are:

  • November 13, 2024 at 10 AM – 4 PM
  • November 14, 2024 at 10 AM – 4 PM
  • November 27, 2024 at 10 AM – 4 PM
  • November 28, 2024 at 10 AM – 4 PM

Registered clients are required to bring:

  • ID for all your family members
  • Proof of current address

If you are registering for the first time, you will be required to provide:

Pathway of Hope

Pathway of Hope is an initiative that provides intentional care specific to individuals and families who desire to make positive changes in their lives for a better future.

Through your involvement with Pathway of Hope, you will be introduced to both The Salvation Army and other services that are available within your community which offer: 

  • A network of support
  • A sense of community
  • Holistic programs
  • Spiritual guidance

Adventure Summer Camp  

  • Held in July for 5 days
  • There are two different children’s camps for two different age groups (7 – 10 yrs & 11 – 15 yrs)
  • Registration fee is required

March Break Vacation Bible School (VBS) Camp  

  • Held in March for 3 days at the Etobicoke Temple
  • For children ages 6 – 12 from 9 AM – 2 PM
  • There is a registration fees required to participate in the camp program
