Congratulations – Community Impact Award
For several years now, The Salvation Army Etobicoke Temple Corps has partnered with the Toronto Youth Job Corps (TYJC) offering volunteering opportunities to Toronto’s youth in our community.
On Monday, June 15th, 2026. Our Community Services Coordinator Michelle Knol attended a special awards luncheon where she accepted on behalf of The Salvation Army Etobicoke Temple Corps, an award from the TYJC recognizing The Salvation Army's contributions as an ‘Outstanding Community Partner’.

Presentation of Accepted Candidates Pin
We were so pleased to present Lekan Ogunlalu with his Accepted Candidates Pin on Sunday June 14th. Lekan has been accepted as a Candidate into the “Rescued Session” of cadet training. We congratulate Lekan on accepting God’s call to fulltime ministry and his official acceptance into CFOT training program. We lift Lekan and Ayo and their children up in prayer as they embark on this new journey together.
